Designer, observer, problem solver

Hello world! I'm Zuzanna, a Polish designer based in Denmark, working across UX/UI, branding, visual communication, and digital design.

I've always been interested in understanding how things connect, whether that's people, information, systems, or stories. Today, that curiosity shapes the way I approach design: exploring complexity, identifying patterns, and transforming ideas into experiences that feel intuitive, engaging, and purposeful.

With a bachelor's degree in Digital Concept Development, I've worked on projects ranging from mobile apps and digital platforms to brand identities and cultural concepts. While the projects themselves vary, I'm consistently drawn to work that combines structure, visual communication, and storytelling to help people better understand and navigate the world around them.

My process usually starts with questions rather than answers.

Before opening Figma, I like understanding how things work, how people move through them, and where friction, opportunities, or overlooked details exist. Whether I'm designing a booking system, a cultural platform, or a visual identity, I enjoy breaking complex challenges into smaller pieces and understanding how they relate to one another.

I'm particularly interested in the space between structure and creativity. Research, content, and systems help create clarity, while storytelling and visual design help create engagement. Some projects require consistency and established patterns. Others benefit from challenging expectations and finding new ways to communicate an idea. Understanding when to do which is often the most interesting part of the process.

I don't see design as a sequence of fixed steps. Every project is different. What stays consistent is my curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to explore, test, and refine ideas until they feel right.

When I step away from the screen, I still find myself exploring many of the same questions that drive my design work.

Photography, typography experiments, making, painting, and other hands-on creative projects allow me to observe details, study composition, and explore how people interact with objects, spaces, and visual narratives. These activities often become unexpected sources of inspiration for digital projects.

While the medium changes, the curiosity stays the same. Exploring different creative disciplines helps me stay open-minded, discover new perspectives, and continuously bring fresh ideas into my work.
